Pico do Arieiro Sunrise Above the Clouds

 

My sunrise hike through Pico do Arieiro was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Madeira. High above the clouds, the landscape transformed with the first light of day, revealing dramatic mountain peaks, deep valleys, and some of the most surreal scenery I have ever photographed. These photos capture the incredible atmosphere and views from one of Madeira’s most iconic locations.
