Urban Exploring Gallery of an Abandoned Dentists Office
Another amazing and unique location, I had an opportunity recently to explore an abandoned dentists office.
There was so much stuff left behind, such as dental tools, molds and a jar of teeth.
One of the most interesting and bizarre abandoned locations that I have ever explored is this abandoned dentists office. I would have never imagined that a dentists office being closed and left abandoned would contain so much stuff!
There were boxes upon boxes of these cast molds, everywhere. All of the dental tools, chairs, x-ray equipment…a truly weird experience.
The boxes and boxes of models are kept because law says you have to, I’ve learned that a lot of times they are put in off site storage lockers. I found it very odd that all the crown and bridge work was left as those most likely were to go into a patient’s mouth. It doesn’t appear to be that old either by looking at the equipment and products on the counter.
The reason for this abandonment was a tenant/landlord dispute causing the dentist to be locked out of his office. Shortly after, all of the other stores and shops in the strip mall were closed and emptied out.

I don’t know if it’s just me and my childhood hatred of going to my mean old dentist, or it it’s jut a universal thing to not like the dentist……
While this abandoned dentists office looks very much like my denstists office, and many others…I still found this location to be high on the creepy factor and very interesting.
Not my most interesting shot ever, but here you have one of two examination rooms, the 3rd exam room was full of boxes and junk.

That is a teaching model – the pink one.
Odd that all the crown and bridge work was left as those most likely were to go into a patient’s mouth.
It doesn’t appear to be that old either by looking at the equipment and products on the counter.
