Inside a Filthy, Forgotten Ontario House – Urban Exploring with Freaktography
Urban exploration never fails to surprise—and this abandoned house in Southern Ontario definitely didn’t disappoint.
From the outside, it looked like your average forgotten home. Google Street View showed it was lived in as recently as 2021. The grass is waist-high, random junk is strewn all over the yard, and the previous owner’s car still sits quietly in the driveway, untouched. That alone was enough to get my curiosity going.
I stepped through the wide-open front door, and boom—the smell hit me like a brick wall. It was a mix of wet dog, mold, and maybe something worse. The floors were filthy, the kitchen was a disaster, dishes still in the sink, food still in the cupboards. Family photos were still up on the walls like time just stopped.
And then, things got weird.
Scattered across the main floor were magazines and VHS tapes—pornography everywhere. But not just that. Gardening books. Auto repair manuals. Old computer guides. It was like someone lived two completely different lives under one roof.
But the real surprise came upstairs.
I walked into one of the bedrooms and froze. Lying on the bed was a blow-up doll, red lips frozen in a permanent “O,” surrounded by homoerotic magazines and photos that were clearly taken in this very house. Personal photos. Real people. Real scenes.
This took the house from “grimy” to “what the hell am I standing in?”
Urban exploring abandoned houses is always unpredictable—but this one? This one was unsettling in a way that stuck with me long after I left.
If you’re into abandoned places, creepy walkthroughs, or seeing what gets left behind when people vanish, this explore checks all the boxes. Some places you explore… and others? You survive.
