Exploring a Forgotten Beautiful and Menacing Abandoned House
This Forgotten Beautiful and Menacing Abandoned House I am sharing here is one that I was very excited to explore and was even more excited once I arrived!
The photos I had seen from others showed an interesting interior and an even better exterior.
I arrived here and decided right away that I wanted to take my time here and enjoy this house, so in the coming days I’ll have a great deal to show you!
Let’s start with the best part of this abandoned house, the staircase.
In many abandoned homes the newel, balusters and handrails have either been removed and repurposed or smashed by kids, but thankfully (for now) the whole thing seems intact! The only thing that seems to be missing is the decorative cap on the top of the newel post.
I do love a good staircase and I will almost always take too many photos from many different angles!
Here we will look at the various rooms in this forgotten abandoned house
Everything about this house was just what I like to see in an abandoned house, from the random things and furniture left behind and scattered about to the peeling paint and more

Lastly, continuing with my creative and musical collaboration with Flying Hórses, I used this opportunity to create a short video using her track “Homebound”.
It is challenging to find a proper theme or story to tell when using instrumental music but with her music, especially this track and this location everything seemed to fit between the flow of the music and the clips that I wanted to use.
