One Dollar Mansion

I wasn’t even going to ever bother posting this one because I didn’t find it very interesting at all.

And then I did some googling about it and I learned some interesting info.

This 5-bedroom mansion has been listed for only $1.00 for several years, a sales tactic that is normally used to create a bidding war, however in this case – that tactic failed.

The home has been on and off the market steadily since 2013 with an actual value of almost $6,000,000 in an area where the average home value is $6,500,000.

The existing cottage-style home is found on a deep, private lot behind a row of trees and the real estate listing states that the home can be demolished for either a new single-family home or a developer could build 10 luxury townhomes on the lot, this plan has already been drawn out for the prospective buyer.

Regardless of which way it goes, no one seems to want this home or property but it is sure to be a teardown for a new build of some sort.
