Abandoned Wedding Venue

Abandoned and Forgotten Wedding Venue and Banquet Hall

This now abandoned and decaying wedding venue opened in 1989.

It quickly established itself as a premier event venue, hosting weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations in its elegant and adaptable spaces.

The venue gained a strong reputation for its adaptability, catering to diverse cultural and themed celebrations.

Over the years, it gained a strong reputation for exceptional service and attention to detail.

Unfortunately, it permanently closed around 2021. While specific reasons for its closure aren’t detailed, the decline in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent challenges in the hospitality industry likely played a role.

Before visiting this abandoned wedding venue in Southern Ontario, I had seen a few photos from others. The photos didn’t really get me too excited to visit this location.

However, when I found myself in the area I decided to stop by and see it for myself.

The moment that I entered the first of many ball rooms/banquet halls I knew that I was in for a real treat here!

The place was absolutely huge, each banquet hall was different, two of them were absolutely massive and they had a room divider that would have made them into one totally ginormous hall!

They all had elaborate chandeliers and a large spacious lobby. Each lobby had huge windows and some of them had real trees growing.

In this set, we look at most of the banquet halls and their respective lobby areas.

I had initially been advised that this facility closed due to the pandemic, however, yesterday someone else told me that it was actually due to a roach infestation!

They have since opened in a newer facility, leaving this older location to fall into this decaying condition. Oddly, it still has power!
