About This Abandoned House

The woman who lived in this home emigrated to Canada from Germany in the 1950s with her husband and young son.

Before moving to Canada they co-owned an automotive shop, but looking for a fresh start and a new life, the couple decided to pack up and come to Canada.

The husband built his very own transit repair company, ultimately moving on to creating, producing and manufacturing a highly profitable mode of transportation that would be implemented by transit organizations all over the province.

The husband sadly passed away in the late 1970s and after his company was sold, the wife was able to live a long and comfortable life on those finances.

The wife eventually met another man and together they travelled the world and enjoyed their life together in this beautiful home that was largely inspired by not only their own heritage but also from their world travels, having seen almost 60 countries together.

After many years together, the womans partner passed away in 2015 at the age of 87 and she joined him and her late husband in 2020.
