This creepy abandoned antique store was first discovered over 10 years ago by friends and fellow explorers, Ground State Photography and Fortress of Solitude. At the time, they kept the location secret due to the many priceless abandoned antiques and unique items left forgotten inside. Among their findings was a display case filled with vintage gold jewelry—a true time capsule of treasures.
Ground State and FOS spent several days documenting the forgotten abandoned antiques, from creepy dolls to other remnants of the past. When they returned a decade later, they found the property had become a victim of urban exploring gone wrong. Vandals and thieves had removed, tossed, or stolen much of the valuables. What was once an abandoned time capsule house now lay in shambles, with debris and antiques scattered across the floors. On my visit, I found the same devastation. Decades ago, this abandoned house was a local secondary school before being purchased in the 1990s by a woman with dreams of opening an antique store. Sadly, the store never opened, and her treasures remained untouched. Now, with a hefty $600,000 price tag, this incredible piece of abandoned Canada sits unwanted, waiting to be rediscovered by those who love exploring creepy abandoned places.
